This is a faithful adaptation of Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance", appropriate in vocal range and lyric manageability to younger performers from middle primary to middle high school years.
It comes in a hire kit with master book of lyrics & script (libretto) and
individual performers' scripts (sufficient for cast). The piano/vocal score can be hired.
Also included is a double CD of vocal
performances and instrumental backings for performance. The backings are
adapted from Sir Arthur Sullivan's
original orchestral score, to give young performers the feel of performing
with an orchestra.
